I am Prerna Dubey
A user experience designer building experiences around the world for more than 7 years. My most recent stint was at OLX Autos, India before shifting base to Dubai.
Before this, I have crafted seamless experiences in domains like Finance, E-commerce, Aviation, Legal at Human Factors International, The Minimalist and Accenture.
Since childhood, I have lived in 5 states in India, 1 in South Africa and travelled across 8 countries and 20 states in India which has helped me embrace all cultures and taught me to adapt to challenges quickly. I try to bring all my learnings to design.
I am a person who can smile in the worst of times. I thrive amidst curiosity, humility and joy. I seek teams where, together, we can create lasting and meaningful impact on people's lives.
An engineer turned designer
I graduated from Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology, Bangalore, India with a master's degree in Human Centered Design. I give it a lot of credit for my personal as well professional growth. Before that I completed my bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India. So, I am great in supporting the developers to reach the desired final outcome. When I discovered UX, I fell in love with how technology and design together can create beautiful experiences. I first applied my learnings to my internship project with Human Factors International and achieved a certificate in Certified Usability Analyst.
Love for people!
The best thing about design is, it's all about people! We design for people, we get feedback from people, we are supported by people and it thrills me to think that we make small and big impact in their daily lives while designing the navigation, user's experience journey, the personality of a product and the delight that they would get! User feedback is what I design for, good or bad, it makes the experience better.
